4.20.03- Fun fun fun Well, I've been playing around with my DVD RW some more, and its real great. The problem is, the DVD authoring software that came with it is very limited. I mean, it works and I can make menus and stuff, but I can't move around the boxes and do all sorts of cool stuff that you find on regular DVDs. That's why I can't wait for Adobe's DVD authoring software to come out! What I'm wondering about is, it says it needs a Pentium 4. I got an AMD. I really don't think that there would be a compatibility problem. I think the reason they said that was so Mac people would know it wasn't for them. I guess. I would burn a whole lot more stuff, but the majority of stuff that I download that would be burned is in Quicktime, and it takes a LONG time to transcode Quicktime to MPEG2. I wanted to make my own Animatrix DVD, but I'm not gonna wait that long. Also, when it does transcode, it changes the ratio to 4:3 instead of letterbox, the way it was originally. So the picture is stretched. Nuts. I've been getting familiar with ebay. I gotta say, it's pretty nice. Until someone tries to scam you. I saw these Alienware laptops on there and they were gonna sell for about $20. So I decided to hop on the wagon. Well, after I bid I looked at the description and it made it seem like you were getting a laptop, until you came to the part which said, "NOTE: no electronics are being sold in this auction. The winning bidder will receive INFORMATION on where to get brand new Alienware laptop for $170(free s/h)." Well, I saw that and I was freakin out. I wasn't about to pay my good hard earned money on some stupid info. So I emailed the guy and pleaded with him and he canceled the bids. WHEW! I thanked him and went off on my merry way. I've learned my lesson. Of course, I supposed I should have known better, but I just skimmed the description and it had all these computer stats. At the bottom it had a picture of the laptop. I say Yay! And then I figured out I'd been scammed. They should have made it where you could only sell stuff you can hold in your hand. Not information. I could sell information on what I ate last week if I remembered.
4.12.03- London Bridges Falling down On Friday I fell. I didn't think it was that eventful but some other people thought it was pretty darn funny. I was just leaning back in my chair and then this guy nudges my chair just enough to send me flying back. In my futile attempt to stop my fall I somehow dislodged the pencil shaving cup from the pencil sharpener and made all these pencil shavings come raining down. Now I didn't see this because once I was on the ground I was just trying to get my bearings again. Some other people wet their pants it was so funny. Well not really, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. I mean, I almost DIED! I could have snapped my neck on that brick wall behind me. When me and my brother are talking about Counter-Strike, we try to do it discreetly. Otherwise we might disturb a few people.
4.5.03- My car I actually got out and took some pictures of my car! Now you can feel sorry for me. 4.4.03- Update You may be wondering why I haven't been updating in awhile. Well the answer is its the fourth nine weeks. And the fourth nine weeks is always crazy because all the teachers are like, "Oh no we only have 1 more nine weeks and we have to finish the book even though we are only half way through we will do it even though you are gonna fail and won't learn anything!" It's crazy man! On a lighter note, I got my DVD RW. The reason I don't put DVD-RW or DVD+RW is because it does it all! It's awesome. I don't have to worry about all that compatibility mess. I burned a little DVD+RW disk with about 2 music videos on it just to test it out, and to my surprise, it played on my DVD Player! I gotta say I'm pretty happy right now. So what's next on my list of things to buy? A $2000 camera! Really!
