Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the delayed response, but our new internet connection is now installed so we can check email once again. (Hooray!)

Here is some info for you regarding our Counter-Strike on Saturday, Dec 14th:

There is no cash prize for this tournament although we will award gift certificates from EB Games as well as full bragging rights. :)

Hopefully later on there will be the chance for such a tournament and possibly even a CPL qualifier which could lead to cash prizes.

There is no deadline for registration. It starts and 9 am on Saturday and the tournament will start at approximately 10 or 10:30.

There will be three dedicated servers (two practice and one tournament) that will be administered by an officiator. Clients are running version 1.0.0.5. Maps will be selected at random and we're still looking at what types (Bomb, VIP, Hostage) that will be used. Probably selected at random as well.

You may certainly change the settings on our equipment to meet your personal preferences. There will be a brief prep and warm up session for each team prior to head to head competition so that each team can be sure they are ready.

Teams will be seated so as they only have teammates on either side of them and the opposing team cannot see the other teams monitors. We are voice communication equipped, however, teammates will have to be careful how loud they talk as the other team will be in the same room.
