 Chapter 10

Linus grabbed a few things from his room, and met the others in the lobby of their hotel. They all left for the plane to Washington. When they got there, they got into a rented car and went to their hotel. They met up in one of their rooms.

“Alright. Here’s what we have to do.” said Linus. He pointed to some floor plans of Bill Gates house that he had gotten mysteriously. “Here is where we will come in.” He pointed to the roof. “There will probably be several security guards around. So be quiet.”

“What happens if we are caught?” asked Jim.

“We don’t want to know what will happen if we are caught. Now, we can’t cut the power, cause that will be a sure sign that someone wants to come in.”

“When are we gonna go in?” asked Jack.

“At approximately 3:42 A.M. and 56 seconds.” Answered Linus.

            “Why so specific?” asked Bill.

“Because, they won’t ever be able to predict when we will come in!” said Linus. “Enough questions, lets get to work!”

At approximately 3:42 A.M. and 56 seconds, Linus, Jack, Bill, Harry, Tux, and Jim entered into Bill Gates home through the roof. First to enter was Linus. Then Bill, Harry and Jim. Jack tossed Tux down to Jim. Then Jack proceeded to fit into the small hole they had made.

            “Uh… UMMM… GEUHHH!!” grunted Jack.

“Be quiet!” “Shh!” “They will hear you!” said the others.

“Um… guys? I think I’m stuck.” Said Jack.

“Ok, lets pull him in.” said Linus.

They grabbed his legs and began pulling. It wasn’t working very well.

“Wait wait wait! Coordination guys, coordination!” directed Linus. “Ok on three… ONE! –“

When he said ‘one’, Jack came tumbling down on all the others. This created a loud ruckus.

“What was that?” said a voice.

“I don’t know. Go see what it is.” Said another

            “Why do I have to?”

            “Because… uh… you’ve been here longer!”

            “Yeah, by 3 days.”

“I don’t want to see what it is.”

            “I don’t either, I’m afraid.”

            “What’s that?” asked Jim.

“It’s the guards!” said Linus. “Quick hide!”

“Ok… you go, and I will be right behind you.”

            “Ok fine!”

“Jack,” said Linus “when I say go, you tackle them. Ya know, like in football.”

“I have never played football. Its evil!”

“Well, so is Microsoft, now go get em!”

            “Ok…”

            “GO!”

Jack quickly got up and rammed into a guard, knocking him down. He turned to the other one and slammed him into a wall. Both were rendered unconscious.

            “How convenient!” said Harry.

“Come on, let’s go get the code.” Said Bill.

“So, where exactly is the source code?” asked Jim.

“Hmm. Well, I am not sure. I was kind of expecting to just stumble on to it.” Said Linus.  “Lets just keep looking.

They wandered through Bill Gates house when they came upon a bookshelf.

“Hmm… If my memory serves me right, this bookshelf is really a secret passage.” Said Linus.

“Cool!” everyone said. They ran up and started pulling books out. Nothing was happening.

“He he he…” said Linus. He picked up a book that was lying on the floor and put it in. The bookshelf swung open to Bill Gates standing there smiling.

“Why hello Linus. What a pleasant surprise.” Said Gates

“No! NO NO NO!!!” said Linus.

“What’s wrong? Did I spoil the surprise? Take them away!” Gates said.

The two guard came and took them away to a prison where they were handcuffed for interrogation.

“I have been waiting for this moment for 8 years now…
